These pods are felted without seams using wool, soap, water and hands.  Other fibres such as silk and bamboo are added for texture and shine.  They are then ecoprinted.  Ecoprinting is a natural dye process using leaves,onion skins, rust and heat to create colours and leaf prints on natural textiles.  They are all one of a kind as the ecoprinting process depends on the leaves and the seasons.  The tails are for lowering with ease.  The intention was to line them with a paper bag.
